The 2012 Building Act is subject to constant adjustments that are made public through Ministerial Regulations, information memos and sweeping decisions. This makes a verification complex. When deviations are ascertained, we will make note of them and (when it is in our power to do so) propose solutions to tackle the encountered problems. test
Checking existing buildings
Existing buildings have often not evolved with time when it comes to fire safety. Unfortunately, large fires with unfortunate victims or wounded clearly demonstrate that.
The loss of lives is of course the main driver to make sure a property is sorted when it comes to fire safety. But it is often also a good reason for insurance companies to lower the premium, since the risk of major fire/water damages is reduced. HPS Consultancy scans properties and will report on the safety conditions of a building through logs and reports. Besides this reporting, we also present an estimate of the costs to be incurred so that you can take these expenses into account when budgeting. But the entirety of this operation can also be left with us. We shall make sure the building is back up to code with you and for you. All of this results in a log which can easily be used by inspecting authorities to check the building.
Fire compartments
When a building has undergone renovations, fire compartments have often been moved or different safety requirements have been set. Even after inspection by the competent authorities, issues can come to light that should be considered further and need to be resolved.

In these situations we can also organise all of it for you and make sure that everything is being done right. The end result will be recorded in a log and reports. The manufacturers of plating have proven through testing that their materials comply to the latest European requirements; When seeking solutions up to 180 degrees, fire-resistant plating are always a good option. HPS Consultancy can advice you on choosing the right plating for your project when it comes to costs and the technical feasibility. By guiding the work proceedings, we can take full control of the assembly out of your hands and make sure that the plating is applied conform to the way it was tested. Of course you will be kept informed of the progress and through a final report will be ensured that the materials have been installed properly and meet the set requirements. It goes without saying that we can also organise this entire process for you.
Protective coating (steel)
Through our Protective Coating background, we possess the expertise to keep steel coating projects on track through advice, monitoring and a coaching process.
We test and check the blasting and the different layers of paint. During and after the installation, we check the repair spots. Our interim and final reports give a clear picture of the situation and when we indicate that the steel has been treated properly, you can accept the served guarantee statements. Besides the checks during construction, we can set up and execute an inspection/repair process, which gives you assurance that no problems will arise during the guarantee period and beyond. We advice such a process particularly when there are big chances of mechanical damages such as

• Atmospheric burdens (car parks – moisture – heat – salt)
